Full Terms and Conditions
1. The Promoter is Sarson’s ( “Promoter”). Email: sarsons@mizkan.co.uk
2. This Promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom only (includes Scotland and excludes IOM & NI). This also excludes employees of the Promoters or its holding or subsidiary companies, agents and anyone professionally associated with this Promotion.
3. Please note that while the Promoters wish to encourage participation and for to entrants enjoy the benefits of the Promotion, the Promoters believe in responsible consumption of their products. Please do not purchase more product than that is reasonable simply to participate in this Promotion.
4. Purchase of a Promotional Product from a participating store which is displaying the point of sale is necessary. Full participating store list displaying point of sale is outlined in clause 29.
5. Entrants must retain an itemised receipt that states the time and date of purchase prior to entry, but within the Promotion Period, as this will be required for entry to Promotion, validation and in order for any Winner to receive a Prize.
6. Internet access and a valid email address is required.
7. Promotion Period: The Promotion Period shall commence from 12:00am on 30th October 2024 to 11:59pm on 20th November 2024.

9. Promotion Entry: To enter the Promotion, individuals must:
a) purchase a qualifying Promotional Product;
b) scan the QR code on the point of sale, or visit the ‘Spin the Sarson’s 230 Bottle’ game via the link in Sarson’s social media accounts, or website homepage:
c) accept or reject the relevant Cookies Policy when taken through to the ‘Spin the Sarson’s 230 Bottle’ game;

d) enter in the final five digits of their receipt code, or the time, date and receipt value; and
f) ‘spin’ the vinegar bottle to see if they have won a Prize.
10. Promotional Prizes:
Each winning entry shall win a maximum of 1 (one) of the following items:
a) Sarson’s Limited Edition Kitchen Utensil Kit: A duo of Sarson’s 230 year gold label bottles, an engraved 230 year anniversary chopping board & set of 230 year anniversary oven gloves.
b) Cooking Class Experience: A ‘We Love Fish’ cooking class at the Jamie Oliver Cookery School, £250 spend towards accommodation/travel & a Sarson’s Limited Edition Kitchen Utensil Kit (contents listed above).
‘We Love Fish’ cooking class can be changed to an alternative class on request from winner.
Together the items above shall be referred to as the “Prizes” and each refers to a “Prize”
A maximum of 1 (one) entry is permitted per eligible receipt and only 1 (one) Prize can be won per qualifying receipt. Once a Prize has been associated with a qualifying receipt, no further Prizes can be won or associated with that receipt. Additional entries are valid with a new purchase and qualifying receipt. There is no limit to the number of entries, but each entry must have a qualifying receipt and only 1 (one) entry is permitted per eligible receipt.
11. Total Prize Availability: There will be a maximum of 200 Sarson’s Limited Edition Kitchen Utensil Kit winners, and 5 Cooking Class Experience winners.
12. Prize fulfilment: All Prizes will be fulfilled by EMC3 the selected fulfilment agency.
13. Prize Winners: Valid and eligible entries made during the Promotion Period may be randomly selected and allocated a Prize and winning entrants shall be referred to as a “Winner”.
Whether or not an entry is allocated a Prize or not shall be determined and be dependent on the date and time an entry is made. For total confidence, Prizes are randomly allocated to time slots during the Promotion period via an independent, random winner generator which is built into the Promotion’s game. As the allocated time slot passes each prize rolls over until claimed.
14. Winner Notification: Entrants to the Promotion will be alerted
immediately on screen if they have won and if so, which Prize they have won. Winners will be requested to provide their valid email address to the Promoters for fulfilment of the Prize. Once receipt is validated, Winners will be contacted via email address from EMC3 to request delivery details for prize fulfilment.
In the unlikely event an individual is alerted that they have won a Prize but a Promoter subsequently finds (at its sole discretion) that a qualifying purchase of a Promotional Product has not taken place or the receipt that has been uploaded by the entrant pursuant to paragraph 9 is invalid, fraudulent or fake, the Promoters retain the right to refuse to provide a Prize to this individual at no liability to the Promoters.
a) Sarson’s Limited Edition Kitchen Utensil Kit winners; Any Prize Winner of the cooking bundle will be validated via email within 7 days of the initial prize claim/qualifying Winner submitting their receipt.
b) Prize fulfilment of Sarson’s Limited Edition Kitchen Utensil Kit winners will be within 28 working days following successful validation.
c) Cooking Class Experience winners; Any Prize Winner of the Jamie Oliver Cookery School London will be validated via email within 7 working days of the initial prize claim/qualifying Winner submitting their receipt.
d) Prize fulfilment of Cooking Class Experience winners will be within 28 working days following successful validation.
e) Winners may have to verify their email by responding to the Promoters’ email within 10 (ten) working days if requested, in the unlikely event that a Prize doesn’t arrive within 28 (twenty-eight) days of the date of claim, the Winner(s) will have a further 28 (twenty-eight) days to inform the Promoter by emailing sarsons@mizkan.co.uk.
f) If the Winner does not do so, the Promoters reserve the right to not issue the Prize to said Winner or to limit the Prize value at its sole discretion. All Prizes not verified by a Winner within 10 (ten) working days of a winning claim will be redrawn and redistributed. The Promoters do not accept any responsibility in the event a Winner is not able to take up their prize and reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible entrant selected pursuant to clause 9.
15. Promotion Moderation: The Promoters seek to run fair and secure promotions and prevent abuse, fraud and cheating. If an entrant submits an entry to the Promotion in a way that is not consistent with these Terms & Conditions, such entries (and any entries made with associated aliases) will be disqualified, any Prize awarded may be void and recoverable, and the Promoters reserve the right to bar such individuals from entering future promotions of the Promoters and for this reason, the Promoters reserve the right at any point to:
a) Verify the eligibility of entrants and/or provisional winners by requesting such information the Promoters consider reasonably necessary for this purpose. Entry to the Promotion or a Prize may be withheld unless and until verification is completed satisfactorily.
b) Disqualify entries that are not made directly by the individual entering the Promotion.
c) Disqualify entries made using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator.
d) Disqualify bulk entries from individuals, trade, consumer groups or third parties, incomplete entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means.
e) Disqualify entries of those using techniques such as ‘script’, ‘brute force’, multiple SIM cards for Text entries, masking identity by manipulating IP addresses, using aliases or identities other than their own or any other means.
f) Disqualify entries which, in some other way, do not fully meet the requirements of these Terms & Conditions.
16. Personal Data: By entering the Promotion, entrants agree that any personal information both provided and collected will only be used by the Promoters and its associated parties including but not limited to any agency for administrative or operational reasons connected with the Promotion. Any personal data will be used and handled in accordance with the Promoter’s respective Privacy Policy, available at:

17. Prize transfer or exchange: The Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation. If for any reason any Prize is not available, the Promoters reserve the right, at its sole discretion to substitute that Prize for another of equal or greater value.
18. Compliance: If the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoters which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoters reserve the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or does not comply with these Terms & Conditions, or invalidate any affected entries and/or to cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion.
19. Limitation of liability: The Promoters and its associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using the/a Prize(s), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude the Promoters’ liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
It is acknowledged that this Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with any third-party. This promotion is exclusive to Tesco.
The Promoters shall bare no responsibility for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery or receipt. The Promoters do not guarantee continuous or secure access to the microsite.
20. Data Protection: All personal data supplied for this Promotion will be used solely for the purpose of this Promotion by the Promoters and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion and will not unlawfully be disclosed to an unconnected third party unless positive consent has been obtained. 21. Force Majeure: The Promoters will not be liable for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations for reasons beyond its reasonable control arising from but not limited to Acts of God, global or regional epidemic or pandemic, adverse weather conditions, fire, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, plague or other natural calamities, or any other circumstances of the Promoters.
22. Validity: If any part/s of these Terms & Conditions are legally ruled to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect.
23. Verification: The Promoters may require any entrant or Winner(s) to provide verification and proof of age, identity and address as may be reasonably required before any Prizes are awarded. 24. Conflict: If there is a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and those in any promotional material, these Terms & Conditions will prevail.
25. Promoter’s final decision: The decisions of the Promoters are final and binding in all matters relating to the Promotion and no correspondence will be entered into.
26. Advertisement: Subject to Winner(s) consent, the Promoters may use the Winner’s name, image, town or country of residence to announce the Winner of the Promotion and for any other reasonably related promotional purposes or to indicate a valid award took such place. Winner(s) may opt out of the Promoters using Winner’s name, image, town or country of residence to announce Winner(s) when contacted to validate Prize, and request Prize fulfilment information.
For the avoidance of doubt the Promoters must still provide the information and details of any Winner(s) to the Advertising Standards Authority and any other regulatory or legal body upon reasonable request.
It is the responsibility of an entrant to provide their correct, up-to-date details when entering the Promotion and/or confirming acceptance of a Prize in order for their Prize to be processed. The Promoters shall not be held responsible for Winner(s) failure to supply accurate information which affects Prize acceptance or delivery of a Prize.
27. Agreement: Upon entry of the Promotion, entrants are deemed to have read, accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of the Promoters. The Promoters reserve the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
28. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and their interpretation and application will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
